Job summary

The University of Cincinnati Foundation seeks a Senior Director, Annual Giving to lead the Foundation's annual giving strategy across athletics and all channels, aligning with University and Alumni priorities. This exempt, salaried role reports to the Executive Director, Annual Giving and involves cross-functional leadership across Marketing, Alumni, and Athletics teams in Cincinnati.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 7-10 years in higher education annual giving fundraising or related field.
• Experience translating organizational priorities into measurable goals and outcomes.
• Proven leadership and management experience across cross-functional teams.
• Strong understanding of integrated omnichannel fundraising communications (mail, email, digital, web, social).
• Knowledge of fundraising databases and data systems; Blackbaud CRM preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for annual giving fundraising and marketing campaigns.
• Develop and oversee comprehensive annual giving strategies and long-term plans to boost participation and revenue.
• Direct omnichannel campaigns across direct mail, email, digital, web, social media and video.
• Lead Athletics annual giving integration within the broader marketing strategy.
• Manage staff performance, provide coaching, and support professional growth.
• Oversee budgets, vendors, and external resources for campaigns.
• Partner with Alumni Association, Athletics and internal teams to align priorities.
