Job summary

Cincinnati Children’s is seeking a Leadership Annual Giving Officer to manage a donor portfolio and advance leadership annual gifts. You will cultivate relationships, solicit gifts of $1,000+, and coordinate with RPM, mid-level and major giving teams to ensure a cohesive donor experience.

You will document engagement, track outcomes in the CRM, and communicate impact to supporters while advancing Cincinnati Children’s mission and stewardship efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years of work experience in a related job discipline.

Responsibilities

• Qualify leadership annual philanthropy prospects.
• Develop and maintain engagement strategies for each assigned prospect.
• Collaborate with Research and Prospect Management (RPM) to facilitate portfolio movement.
• Maintain and enhance data accuracy of assigned prospects.
• Cultivate and solicit leadership annual gifts of $1,000 or more.
• Solicit through personal visits, phone, email, direct mail, and online outreach.
• Gather donor information and draft correspondence as part of the solicitation process.
• Conduct follow-up actions related to gift fulfillment.
• Collaborate with the mid-level giving team to execute donor-centric engagement plans.
• Collaborate with the major giving team to execute donor-centric engagement plans.
• Identify leadership annual donors with mid-level and major giving potential.
• Ensure coordinated donor experiences across giving programs.
• Collaborate with the Stewardship team on the Leadership Annual Giving stewardship plan.
• Personally thank and recognize leadership annual donors.
• Share impact updates that connect donors to Cincinnati Children's mission.
• Document stewardship touchpoints and outcomes in the CRM.
