Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking an Ambulatory Imaging Services Director to provide administrative oversight for the Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Service Line. You will collaborate with modality leaders and health system leaders to ensure service-level standards are met and strategic initiatives are executed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in business, health administration, or clinical field with equivalent experience.
• 5 years of progressive leadership experience, preferably in radiology.
• Licensed technologist in a radiology modality.
• Significant management experience in a complex health care organization.
• Thorough knowledge of health care delivery models, business and strategic planning, financial management, and organizational development.
• Ability to work collaboratively with medical center leaders and external agencies.
• Ability to establish and utilize metrics to support operational and process improvement.
• Thorough knowledge of budget development, financial analysis, and reporting techniques.
• Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.
• Ability to build and maintain a climate of trust and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative oversight for Radiology & Biomedical Imaging Service Line, partnering with modality leaders and health system leaders.
• Serve as primary contact for ambulatory imaging leadership team and ensure service-level standards are met.
• Support and execute strategic initiatives under the direction of health system executives.
• Design and oversee administrative operations across multiple clinical services and coordinate resources.
• Provide oversight of regulatory compliance, quality and safety initiatives and lead a team of Site Managers and Supervisors.
• Contribute to development and implementation of new policies and programs.
