Job summary

Barry University is seeking an Associate Director of Alumni and Donor Relations to grow fundraising impact and strengthen ties with alumni, donors, and community partners. The role supports strategic planning and execution of communications that advance the university’s philanthropic goals.

The position oversees content creation, magazines, annual reports, and social media, with collaboration across Advancement teams and signature events to ensure consistent branding and messaging across

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in marketing, communications, business or related field.
• 3-5 years of related experience preferred.
• Proficiency with digital tools and platforms for outreach.

Responsibilities

• Curate at least 50 alumni and donor stories annually, to be used in a variety of channels (online, print, etc.).
• Publish two magazines annually.
• Co-write with Advancement leadership to publish the University Advancement annual impact and endowment report.
• Mail annual giving solicitations with the Alumni and Donor Relations team.
• Write, design and produce email communications including content development, formatting, proofing, testing, scheduling, audience coordination and distribution.
