Job summary

Barry University is seeking a Manager, Recruitment & Employer Relations to lead employer engagement and On Campus Interview programs, while delivering career counseling to students and alumni. The role also oversees BarryConnect/12Twenty, career programming, and employment outcomes reporting in collaboration with the Director of Career Services & Employer Relations.

You will identify new employer partners across sectors, develop targeted outreach, and create marketing materials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in Business, Communications, HR, Counseling, Legal Studies, or related field.
• Master's Degree preferred in Higher Education Administration or related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in student affairs, career services, or employer relations.
• Experience advising, coaching, or counseling is preferred; J.D. not required.

Responsibilities

• Identify and engage employers; coordinate On Campus Interviews and resume collections.
• Provide career counseling to students, especially 2Ls, including resume review and mock interviews.
• Administer BarryConnect/12Twenty and manage job postings and workflows.
• Analyze data and support employment outcomes reporting.
• Plan career programming, networking events, and outreach initiatives.
