Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director in the BTI group to lead AI-focused insights for supply chain executives and Gartner clients. The role emphasizes thought leadership, market analysis, and delivering strategic, actionable recommendations across global leadership and regional teams.

You will shape research agendas, mentor analysts, and present high-impact content at Gartner events and client briefings, while supporting sales with market voice and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; Graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Demonstrate experience communicating the value and ROI of AI investments to executives or senior leaders.
• Experience/knowledge of translating AI capabilities to supply chain outcomes.
• Experience/knowledge of assessing risk of AI in supply chain strategies.
• Experience/knowledge of governing supply chain AI solutions.
• Demonstrate success communicating the financial ROI and strategic value of AI investments to C-suite leaders.
• Demonstrate executive presence and ability to establish credibility with executives.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought provoking, and highly leveraged "must-have insights" content.
• Develop new insights and ideas through thought leadership and offer compelling, actionable approaches to client's needs.
• Develop in-depth analysis to identify root causes and reframe thinking to drive strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership in establishing Insights positions across a team of analysts.
• Provide clients and prospects with actionable advice via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create and deliver high value presentation materials for Gartner events and client briefings.
• Provide sales support by serving as voice of the market to engage clients and drive growth.
• Build credibility as an industry expert to represent Gartner insights and methodology.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across the Insights community.
