Job summary

Gartner is seeking a Senior Director to lead in the Business and Technology Insights (BTI) group, shaping procurement insights at local, regional and global levels. You will craft must-have insights, mentor analysts, and help clients navigate AI-driven procurement strategies while engaging executives through presentations and meetings.

You will drive research on procurement tech, S2P, P2P, and AI adoption, collaborating across teams, and traveling up to 25% to meet client needs and advance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent; graduate degree preferred.
• 12+ years of relevant field or industry experience.
• Experience leading strategic digital transformation projects in procurement.
• Extensive sourcing and procurement technology implementation or administration experience.
• Familiar with Coupa, SAP Ariba, GEP, Jaggaer and Ivalua.
• Experience developing and deploying an AI strategy for procurement.
• Experience piloting, implementing, or using AI in procurement.
• Articulate the role of procurement technology in delivering business value.
• Executive presence and ability to engage executives and stakeholders.
• Travel up to 25% where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Create innovative, thought-provoking, and highly leveraged must-have insights content.
• Develop insights through thought leadership and actionable client approaches.
• Analyze root causes and reframe thinking to drive procurement strategy forward.
• Demonstrate thought leadership across a team of analysts.
• Provide strategic input to Gartner leaders and evolve the research agenda.
• Research, analyze, and predict market trends for clients and vendors.
• Deliver actionable insights to clients via virtual or face-to-face interactions.
• Create high-value presentations for Gartner events and conferences.
• Support BTI and Sales with market voice to drive client engagement.
• Mentor junior team members and collaborate across a globalInsights community.
• Identify process improvements to enhance service delivery.
