Job summary

Checkr is seeking a Senior Director, Talent to lead and scale our global recruiting function, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People. You will drive the talent strategy, partner with leaders, and leverage data and analytics to optimize hiring while integrating AI tools to improve the candidate experience.

You will spearhead LATAM recruiting, including expansion in Santiago, Chile, and build a strong employer brand as Checkr grows.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in talent acquisition and leadership
• Experience building and scaling recruiting teams (tech and non-tech)
• Experience recruiting in LATAM and understanding regional talent
• Experience with data/analytics to improve recruiting outcomes
• Experience using AI and technology-driven recruiting practices

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Talent Recruiting Function with a comprehensive strategy
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand talent needs and raise the bar
• Apply commercial acumen to balance speed, cost and quality in hiring
• Use data/analytics to improve hiring velocity and quality of hire
• Integrate AI and other technologies into recruiting processes
• Recruit in LATAM, expanding talent pool in Santiago and surrounding markets
• Strengthen employer brand and candidate experience
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution
