Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Talent to lead and scale our global recruiting function, reporting to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People. You will shape the recruiting strategy, partner with cross-functional leaders, and leverage data and AI to improve hiring velocity and quality.

You will drive LATAM recruiting efforts, starting with Santiago, Chile. You will lead a team of ~15 TA professionals and work on employer branding, strategic investment decisions, and collaboration

Qualifications

• 12+ years in talent acquisition with at least 5 years in leadership.
• Experience building and scaling recruiting teams for technical and non-technical roles.
• Experience recruiting in LATAM, especially Chile.
• Data-driven and metrics oriented with industry benchmarks.
• Experience leveraging AI and technology to improve recruiting.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Talent Recruiting function to meet growth.
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand talent needs and elevate recruiting.
• Apply commercial judgment to hiring speed, cost, and quality.
• Use data/analytics to drive hiring velocity and quality of hire.
• Integrate AI and other tech tools into recruiting processes.
• Develop LATAM recruiting strategies, starting in Santiago, Chile.
• Build and enhance employer brand to attract top talent.
• Balance strategic planning with hands-on execution in recruiting.
