Job summary

Checkr, Inc. is seeking a Senior Director, Talent to lead and scale our global recruiting function. You will set strategy, partner with leaders, and leverage data and AI to improve hiring velocity and quality. The role focuses on LATAM (Santiago, Chile) and an employer-brand strategy to attract top talent.

You will report to the Chief Legal Officer and Head of People, building a team of about 15 professionals and collaborating across functions to drive business outcomes.

Qualifications

• 12+ years in talent acquisition with leadership experience
• Proven ability to build and scale recruiting teams (technical and non-technical)
• Experience recruiting LATAM markets (e.g., Santiago, Chile)

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the Talent Recruiting Function with a comprehensive strategy
• Partner with cross-functional leaders to align talent needs with business goals
• Use data and analytics to improve hiring velocity and quality of hire
• Integrate AI and other technologies into recruiting processes
• Develop employer brand and expand LATAM talent pool
• Oversee a team of ~15 talent acquisition professionals
• Balance recruiting speed, cost, and quality with business outcomes
