Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Senior Director of Software Engineering within Consumer & Community Banking Operations Technology to lead multiple technical domains, manage high-performing teams, and drive strategic platform development.

You’ll champion industry best practices, deliver scalable, resilient, user-centric solutions, and guide adoption of advanced technologies and AI-enabled engineering across the firm.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering with 10+ years of applied experience.
• 5+ years of experience leading technologists to manage complex items.
• Proven ability to deliver large, multi-team programs on schedule.
• Deep experience across API design, AWS, CI/CD, Kubernetes, and data stores.
• Experience guiding multi-organization AI-enabled engineering adoption and governance.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple technology and process implementations to achieve objectives.
• Directly manages multiple areas with strategic transactional focus.
• Sets and scales multi-department strategy for AI-enabled engineering and SDLC automation.
• Applies SDLC toolchain knowledge to drive cross-domain reuse and capacity gains.
• Provides leadership across teams, platforms, divisions, and lines of business.
• Interacts with senior leaders, stakeholders, and executives to drive consensus.
• Manages stakeholders, complex projects, and large cross-product collaborations.
• Influences peer leaders and senior stakeholders across business, product, and technology teams.
