Job summary

Engine in Denver is seeking a Sr. Director of Business Operations to architect the operating cadence and long‑term execution engine that keeps the company aligned, fast, and deliberate.

You will own planning cycles, resource allocation decisions, and the execution infrastructure behind the company’s most important initiatives. Reporting to the Chief People Officer and working with the CEO and ELT, you’ll build and lead a centralized team, drive dashboards and analytics, and embed an AI‑driven

Qualifications

• 12+ years in business operations, corporate strategy, program management or Chief of Staff roles at a high‑growth tech or SaaS company.
• Strategic operator who enables speed without rigid planning and heavy OKR frameworks.
• Experience owning annual planning and cross‑functional prioritization at scale.

Responsibilities

• Own Engine’s operating cadence and planning rhythms (MBRs, QBRs, annual planning).
• Drive strategic planning and resource allocation with Finance, People, and ELT.
• Lead high‑stakes execution as the DRI for cross‑functional bets.
• Provide executive visibility with dashboards, telemetry, and real‑time metrics.
• Serve as ELT operating partner to identify misalignments and unblock bottlenecks.
• Build centralized ops and scale program managers and operators.
• Embed an AI‑driven efficiency mindset across the operating cadence and data collection.
