Job summary

Engine is seeking a Director of Strategy & Operations, Partnerships to partner with the Chief Business Officer and lead a small team of analysts and operations partners. You’ll shape how partnerships, business development, and partner success are planned and executed, with AI at the center.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in strategy & operations or revenue operations within a high-growth B2B SaaS, fintech, or marketplace business.
• Proven as a strategic and operational partner to a VP or C-level revenue leader.
• Clear point of view on AI/automation in partnerships and evidence of shipping at scale.
• Deep knowledge of partner economics, rev-share models, and deal desks.

Responsibilities

• Own segmentation, partner tiering, and book of business design across BD and Partner Success.
• Define capacity model, quotas, and headcount plan with GTM Finance.
• Define metrics and instrumentation including GBV and partner-sourced pipeline.
• Build and run partnerships operating cadence: annual planning, tier calibration, pipeline reviews, and QBRs.
• Standardize the partner motion: types, handoffs, stages, exit criteria, rules of engagement.
• Partner with Revenue Enablement to translate strategy into training, playbooks, and tools.
• Partner with GTM Finance on compensation design and visibility.
• Own partner economics with GTM Finance: rev-share models, contract structures, deal desk.
• Set the AI strategy for partnerships and lead rollout across scoring, forecasting, and insights.
• Test hypotheses on segmentation and productivity and translate into decisions.
