Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a senior leader to drive the AGS segment's vision and strategic direction, aligning with regional heads and HQ stakeholders.

The role focuses on profitability, market share, and coordinated product development priorities across service, marketing, and equipment management teams. The ideal candidate will manage long-term plans, influence pricing strategies, and strengthen customer relationships while navigating complex Fab operations and global collaboration

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred to support collaboration with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders and facilitate effective communication across global teams.
• Familiar with segment ecosystem including key customers' decision making process, business and roadmap.
• Ability to build trust as go-to partner – regarded as key person within the region/organization to take critical decisions and provide inputs to grow the region business activities.
• Data-driven and not always popular decisions under high pressure environment to drive regional objectives.
• Understanding end-to-end complex Fab operation and levels of complexity.
• Knowledge of differentiating the business unit from competition.

Responsibilities

• Formulate, coordinate and be accountable for segment strategy to achieve service market share and margin.
• Understand segment-related customer roadmaps and ensure sPDP priorities address challenges.
• Support region-based Business Development teams to achieve objectives.
• Own profitability/market share for the segment; advise on pricing for opportunities.
• Interface with Equipment BM teams to address competitive challenges and position service at time of equipment sales.
• Represent customer experience and relationship-building during SCLA visits and prepare meetings.
