Job summary

Applied Materials, Inc. is seeking a seasoned FP&A Manager to lead the AGS global P&L consolidation, performance analysis, and executive insights. This role partners with business leaders to drive financial performance, planning, and strategic decision-making from a centralized finance function in Santa Clara.

You will manage a team of analysts, guide forecasting cadence, and deliver actionable financial storytelling to senior leadership, while advancing automation across FP&A processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• 8+ years of FP&A / finance experience.
• Experience supporting global or matrixed organizations.

Responsibilities

• Own AGS full P&L consolidation, including close support, variance analysis, and executive reporting packages.
• Lead global financial cadence (forecast, quarterly outlook, annual planning), including calendar governance and target setting.
• Provide actionable insights and storytelling to AGS leadership (drivers, risks, opportunities).
• Partner with various finance teams to drive performance alignment across groups.
• Manage balance sheet and working capital metrics (FCF, DSO, DIO) with clear improvement actions.
• Develop long range business models to support growth, margin expansion, and operating leverage.
• Lead process and system enhancements, including automation and integration across FP&A tools.
• Lead and develop a team of analysts, ensuring high quality analytics and scalable processes.
