Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, seeks a Senior Director & Chief Engineer for Advanced Manufacturing Engineering in Louisville, KY. You will lead manufacturing process expertise, oversee MSP development, and drive technology and efficiency improvements across product lines and platforms.

You will coach a large engineering team, influence external suppliers, and shape the AME organization’s technical career path to sustain world-class manufacturing capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering/manufacturing/supply chain is required.
• 20+ years of manufacturing experience with managerial responsibility.
• Strong knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes, equipment, tooling, robotics, and controls.
• Cap-ex specification and procurement experience in a high-volume environment.
• Understanding and use of model-based design information and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Provide independent technical oversight across all product lines and platforms for manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Develop and maintain MSPs for manufacturing processes, equipment, and tooling.
• Lead and govern a team of engineers across manufacturing process expertise and digital technology execution.
• Drive external presence with industry groups and suppliers to keep facilities world-class.
• Coach the AME organization and lead the Technical Career Path program.
