Job summary

GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer – Plastics in Louisville, KY. You will mentor entry AMEs, lead plastics tooling projects, and act as a liaison for the COE internal plastics supplier.

You will manage multiple tooling and equipment projects, drive milestones, and collaborate across engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain to optimize processes and quality.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in injection molding or manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with injection molding equipment, resin delivery systems, robotic part load/unload systems, and injection mold troubleshooting.
• Equipment procurement experience (quoting, sourcing, implementation).
• Project Management experience in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical COE guidance for processes, cross-functional team meetings, and design reviews for injection molds and related equipment.
• Lead multiple simultaneous projects and manage milestone delivery with stakeholders.
• Develop technical specifications to ensure mold/equipment delivery is accurate and timely.
• Track capital spending and project timing, reporting KPI to leadership.
• Ensure Equipment Qualification projects are correctly created in Oracle Agile as the AME process.
