GE Appliances, a Haier company, is seeking a Director of Advanced Manufacturing – Metal Stamping in Louisville, KY. You will lead capital equipment and tooling programs, drive safety, quality and efficiency, and manage a multi-disciplinary team across manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include strategic execution, risk review, budget management and collaboration with Product Management to align resources for stamping initiatives. Travel may be involved as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or significant related metal forming experience.
• 10+ years of experience with stamping tooling, presses, and ancillary stamping equipment, automation and related manufacturing processes.
• Experience leading a stamping tooling and equipment engineering team.
• Demonstrated project management capabilities.
• Experience in a large-scale appliance manufacturing environment.
• Fluent in Lean manufacturing principles.

Responsabilités

• Review, track, and manage advanced manufacturing risk within the facility.
• Provide in-depth analysis of stamping tooling and metal fabrication equipment and assess project risks.
• Ensure equipment and tooling comply with GE standards and safety/environmental requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align resources for stamping projects and DFMA.
• Manage project budgets and deliver on time and within budget.
• Mentor and develop the engineering team to maintain high performance.
