Job summary

CapMetro seeks a Director of Administration to lead HR, Marketing & Communications, and Community Outreach & Mobility, partnering with the CEO and Executive Committee to guide administrative strategy. The role oversees labor relations, staffing, benefits, and records management, ensuring compliant, efficient operations and Pay Equity reporting across departments.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in organizational development, business administration, public administration, or related field.
• Six years of administration and management experience or equivalent.
• Experience with employee relations and labor contracts is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff; provide coaching, address performance concerns and discipline as appropriate.
• Oversee all Administration departments including Marketing & Communications, Community Outreach & Mobility, Human Resources.
• Maintain a visible presence to support Administration functions.
• Collaborate with management to review employee comments and concerns about processes and resources.
• Oversee labor relations program; administer labor contracts and personnel policies.
• Oversee grievance and disciplinary processes with HR Manager; assist in union negotiations.
• Provide leadership across Admin departments: talent acquisition, benefits, compensation and wellness; collaborate on staffing needs.
• Prepare and disseminate information on salaries and Pay Equity as required by law.
• Oversee records administration and reporting to agencies; manage budgets for Administration.
• Communicate professionally and maintain respectful working relationships with coworkers and customers.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
