Job summary

St. Cloud Metro Bus is seeking a Director of Administration to provide senior leadership for HR, Community Outreach & Mobility, Marketing & Communications.

You will partner with the CEO and Executive Committee to guide administrative strategy and ensure successful operations. The role requires a four-year degree and six years of admin/management experience, with responsibility as the designated Title VI Manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in organizational development, business administration, public administration, or related field and six years of admin/management experience.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective internal and external relationships.
• Ability to reason logically and creatively and resolve HR issues.
• Maintain confidentiality of critical records and information.
• Knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
• Good judgment to interpret policies and procedures.
• Ability to multi-task with attention to detail.
• English proficiency; bilingual a plus.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise staff; oversee all Administration departments including marketing and communications, community outreach and mobility training, HR.
• Oversee labor relations program; administer labor contracts and personnel policies; supervise grievance processes.
• Provide leadership for HR, marketing and communications, and community outreach; oversee talent acquisition, benefits, compensation and wellness.
• Collaborate with executives on staffing, recruiting and retention; identify staffing needs with department heads.
