Job summary

CapMetro is seeking a Senior Director, Operations Management Support to lead strategic direction, governance, and performance for multiple support functions in Bus Operations and Maintenance. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Transportation, Data Analytics, or related field; substitutions possible year-for-year.
• Twelve years of transit operations oversight, contract administration, performance management, analytics, or related functions.
• Eight years of supervisory experience in a public transportation environment.
• Experience leading multiple functional areas, contractor oversight, strategic planning, and budget administration.
• Public transportation experience in a large, complex operating environment is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish strategic direction and long-range objectives for Operations Management Support aligned with agency priorities.
• Develop budgets, resource plans, workforce plans, and long-term business objectives.
• Develop senior leaders through succession planning, leadership development, and organizational design.
• Provide executive leadership for contractor oversight, analytics, training, and performance management.
• Direct contractor performance, contract administration, compliance monitoring, and improvement initiatives.
• Develop governance standards, auditing methodologies, performance frameworks, and compliance programs.
• Establish KPI governance, reporting standards, audit protocols, and accountability processes.
• Lead organizational performance analysis and provide executive recommendations for decisions.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives and represent the department to executive leadership and partners.
• Direct continuous improvement through analysis, benchmarking, tech, and redesign.
