Prime Therapeutics invites you to join as Sr. Director Actuarial Forecasting, leading a team of actuaries responsible for strategic pricing and innovative actuarial modeling.

You will work with Finance and other departments on cost, pricing strategy, and client pricing recommendations, with remote work options. The role requires a DS degree, ASA/FSA, 10 years actuarial experience (5 in healthcare/PBM), 7 years leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; High school diploma from an accredited school or equivalent GED required
• 10 years of actuarial work experience, 5 of those years being within healthcare or the PBM industry
• 7 years of leadership experience
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology using market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling
• Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFP process and other pricing and risk management initiatives related to various lines of business
• Engages with functional leadership to develop and maintain forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events
• Develops processes to ensure scalability and effective control of work product following actuarial standards of practice
• Leads negotiations and presentations and translates highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences
• Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and consistently demonstrate Prime’s leadership expectations during interactions with direct reports, cross functional and external stakeholders
