The ideal candidate has a strong actuarial background (ASA/FSA), at least 10 years of actuarial experience (5 in healthcare), and 7 years of leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related field; 10 years actuarial experience, 5 in healthcare or PBM
• 7 years of leadership experience
• Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA)

Responsibilities

• Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology
• Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFPs and pricing initiatives
• Develops forecasting assumptions related to utilization and unit cost
• Manages department budget, staffing and performance
• Presents complex concepts to varied audiences
• Ensures compliance with actuarial standards of practice
