Job summary

Prime Therapeutics is seeking a Senior Director of Actuarial Services to lead a team of actuaries and guide pricing strategy for clients and Prime. This role offers remote work and reports to senior leadership.

The position requires 10+ years in actuarial roles (5+ in healthcare), 7+ years of leadership, and an ASA or FSA designation. The incumbent will drive strategic pricing, forecasting, and executive-level communications.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in math, actuarial science, economics, CS, data science, or related field.
10 years actuarial work experience, 5 of those years in healthcare or PBM.
7 years of leadership experience.
Actuarial designation (ASA or FSA).

Responsibilities

Leads a team of actuaries to provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology.
Collaborates with underwriters, client engagement, and senior leadership on RFPs and pricing initiatives.
Engages with leadership to develop forecasting assumptions related to utilization, unit cost, benefit design, and regulatory events.
Develops processes to ensure scalability and control of work product following actuarial standards of practice.
Leads negotiations and presentations and translates complex concepts for diverse audiences.
Manage department budget, staffing, performance and development, and model Prime's leadership expectations.
Other duties as assigned.
