Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) seeks a Senior Director of Accounting to provide organization-wide leadership and strategic direction for accounting and financial operations. The role ensures integrity of consolidated reporting, policy guidance, and internal controls, while guiding GAAP compliance, tax matters, and audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance or related field required.
• Non-supervisory – ten (10) years progressively responsible accounting or financial management experience.
• Supervisory – seven (7) years of employee supervision in healthcare finance or public accounting.
• CPA – active or inactive status preferred.
• Masters in Business Administration or Accounting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and direct general ledger accounting functions across the organization.
• Lead development and enforcement of accounting policies and internal controls.
• Oversee external audit and IRS Form 990 processes and remediation of findings.
• Drive accounting transformation including automation and system optimization.
• Provide executive leadership for accounting, payroll, and accounts payable functions.
