Job summary

ANTHC, a premier tribal health organization in Alaska, seeks a Senior Counsel IV specializing in Transactions and Government Contracting. You will structure, negotiate, draft, and manage complex commercial agreements, government contracts, grants, and strategic partnerships, with focus on ISDEAA and tribal self-governance.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Nine years of relevant legal experience, including transactions and government contracting.
• Active Alaska Bar membership or eligibility via reciprocity.
• Preference for Alaska Native and American Indian applicants under the Indian Self-Determination Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead negotiation, drafting, and administration of complex commercial agreements.
• Advise on ISDEAA-based government contracting and regulatory compliance.
• Provide strategic legal advice for acquisitions, divestitures, and partnerships.
• Support procurement, grants, and contract disputes with audits and investigations.
