POSITION PURPOSE

Oversee day-to-day Finance & Accounting function, including financial statements, AP and AR for a client account in a client facing role.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee month-end and year-end close activities, from balance sheet and cash account reconciliations to financial statement preparation - reviewing all reconciliations and ensuring they are followed-up on monthly.
  • Participate in the creation of the annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working with operations personnel.
  • Review monthly financial package and performance metrics proactively and submit timely to the Finance Director or Account Director, in order to provide a strategic advantage to the account leadership team.
  • Function as a resource to facility / project teams and client to coordinate required procedures and processes.
  • Maintain working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, Master Services Agreement (MSA) and any relevant amendments or appendices.
  • Have a comprehensive technical and functional understanding of all accounting processes in use (i.e. AR, AP and general ledger), MSA and any relevant amendments or appendices, and of the client’s structure and needed interfaces.
  • Review all interfaces to client’s systems (where required) and proper reconciliations.
  • Develop and maintain all necessary manuals associated with accounting processes and controls.
  • Manage the training, development and workload of accounting team staff.
  • Insure proper calculation, billing and recognition of revenue / fees on a timely basis.
  • Identify and implement process re-engineering opportunities.
  • Corporate finance management including : annual and periodic budgeting for the JLL P&L for the assignment, monitoring accuracy of JLL income statement, monitoring corporate receivables, and quarterly revenue attestation.
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP, Jones Lang LaSalle Internal Audit and Client Accounting Services internal review standards and ASC606 reporting.
  • Qualified reviewer for all monthly Client Accounting Services oversight checklists, internal control points and audit workpapers as required.
  • Special projects and other functions as required by manager or client.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 6-12 years of relevant work experience.
  • Minimum 3 years management / supervisory experience.
  • Bachelors degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance.
  • CPA and / or MBA a plus.
  • Strong accounting skills and attention to detail required.
  • Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus.
  • Proficiency in computer-based accounting applications required. Experience with JDEdwards EnterpriseOne platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills required.
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written) required.
  • Customer service orientation and strong presentation skills to internal and external parties required.
  • Demonstrates consistency in values, principles and work ethic.
  • Estimated total compensation ran for this position is :

    140,000.00 – 150,000.00 USD per year

    The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
