Director of Accounting

Nike Inc. - Beaverton, OR

Manage a complex matrix of internal partnerships with cross-functional teams across Nike’s end-to-end Supply Chain, Finance, Treasury, and Trading organizations. Ensure all transactions are accounted for in accordance with US GAAP and Nike policies, with proactive communication to leadership. Lead month and quarter-end closing processes, including financial disclosures related to manufacturing. Operate effectively in a dynamic environment, building relationships and communicating financial stories across cultures. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., excluding certain states.

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Accounting, Finance, plus 10 years of progressive experience in accounting or related fields, including:

• US GAAP
• SAP
• US GAAP Technical accounting
• IFRS and Local Statutory accounting and reporting
• Internal controls over Financial Reporting / Sarbanes-Oxley
• Assessing financial risks and controls
• Applying complex accounting treatments

OR

• No degree but 12 years of relevant experience, including the above skills. CPA license required.
