Job summary

Eurest USA in Malvern, PA seeks a Director of Dining Services to lead client satisfaction and oversee all foodservice operations. You will manage budgets, supervise managers and staff, ensure sanitation and safety compliance, and drive cost control across retail, cafeteria, catering and on-site dining.

The role requires strong leadership, P&L awareness, and the ability to communicate across all levels with a focus on quality and service excellence.

Qualifications

• BS in Food Services Technology/Management or related field preferred; AA with 4 years related experience acceptable.
• Five to seven years of direct foodservice operational management with inventory and purchasing knowledge.
• Strong knowledge of food/catering trends; focus on quality, cost controls, sanitation and presentation.
• Previous P&L accountability or contract-managed service experience desirable.
• Strong supervisory, leadership, management and coaching skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate across management, client, customer and staff levels.
• Excellent financial, budgeting, accounting and computational skills.
• Proficient computer skills including MS Office, email and internet.
• ServSafe Certified.

Responsibilities

• Manages salaried managers and hourly associates in the Food Service Department.
• Oversees the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the account.
• Hires, trains, directs work, and evaluates performance; addresses complaints.
• Prepares and manages annual budget.
• Uses company systems for daily/weekly/monthly reports (inventory, payroll, etc.).
• Oversees food/beverage preparation aligning with HACCP/OSHA guidelines and portion control.
• Other duties as assigned.
