Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a Dining Services Director to oversee all aspects of food service within the community. You will hire, train, supervise, and evaluate dining staff, ensure sanitation, and lead menu planning to meet residents' dietary needs.

You will manage budgets, inventory, and vendor relationships, while delivering excellent customer service to residents, visitors, and staff in a senior care setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Food Service Manager Certificate or meet regulatory requirements.
• ServSafe Certification is required.
• Experience in dining services with management/leadership responsibilities.
• High school diploma is required.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating dining staff.
• Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen, dining and storage areas.
• Directs meal preparation and serving to residents, staff, and guests.
• Prepares monthly menus aligned with dietary needs and sanitation standards.
• Controls portions, inventory, and food costs within budget.
• Plans maintenance for dining equipment with Maintenance Supervisor.
