Job summary

Serving Seniors is seeking a Lead Site Operations Lead in the Nutrition department to oversee congregate dining sites across the San Diego region. This role provides elevated operational and administrative support to the Customer Service Manager while guiding Site Coordinators to deliver consistent, high-quality dining experiences.

The position requires onsite work with regular travel between dining sites. Responsibilities include mentoring peers, expanding site locations, tracking meal counts,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required, AA/AS degree highly desired
• Experience as a Site Coordinator or similar program position preferred
• Experience with older adults and congregate meal settings is preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Responsibilities

• Lead Site Coordinators and serve as a point of contact
• Mentor peers and provide daily guidance
• Promote excellence, hospitality, and consistency across locations
• Monitor program quality and site environment to reflect Serving Seniors brand
• Backfill for Customer Service Manager during absences
• Track and reconcile meal counts and maintain rosters
• Prepare internal reports to support meal allocation goals
• Oversee day-to-day dining room and kitchen operations
• Coordinate schedules, meetings, and events
• Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation protocols
• Report elder abuse as mandated
