Job summary

WME is seeking a Senior Digital Workplace Engineer to own the reliability, performance, and evolution of workplace technology across Microsoft 365, identity, and endpoints in a complex global environment spanning the US, EMEA, and APAC. The role reports to WME's Sr. Director, Tech Ops & Strategy.

This is not a break-fix role. You will operate with significant autonomy, delivering large-scale enterprise technology solutions and shaping technology strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in senior IT engineering or digital workplace roles.
• Deep Microsoft 365, Entra ID, SSO/SAML/OIDC expertise.
• Experience delivering enterprise-scale IT solutions.
• Strong security, risk, and ITIL process experience.
• Proven vendor management and governance experience.
• Experience with enterprise ITSM platforms (ServiceNow or Jira Service Management).

Responsibilities

• Lead incident response and post-mortems; implement corrective actions.
• Apply structured problem management and durable fixes.
• Champion automation, monitoring, and engineering practices.
• Drive CSI cycles using service data to identify improvements.
• Build knowledge base of known issues and runbooks.
• Partner cross-functionally to improve reliability and cost.
• Lead evaluation and administration of the ITSM platform.
• Design, implement, and optimize scalable, secure workplace services.
• Review designs to meet performance and security standards.
• Apply NIST CSF 2.0 to assess risk and strengthen security posture.
• Use service health metrics to remove bottlenecks.
• Own endpoint management across Windows Intune and macOS Jamf.
• Manage Entra ID, conditional access, SSO/SAML/OIDC integrations, hybrid identity, lifecycle automation, PIM, and B2B/guest governance.
• Resolve M365 issues across Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
• Drive technology strategy and lifecycle management.
• Provide design guidance across initiatives.
• Research trends to shape capabilities.
• Lead adoption of Copilot and AI tools with governance.
• Partner with leaders to deliver integrated solutions.
• Communicate risks and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Use NIST CSF 2.0 as common language for risk posture.
• Influence standard technologies and practices.
• Strengthen Service Desk capabilities through documentation and enablement.
• Provide coaching and mentorship; promote knowledge sharing.
• Support hiring, onboarding, and development.
• Model innovation and customer focus.
