This client delivers high-impact web solutions, specializing in critical sectors like healthcare, and is committed to pushing the boundaries of technology to create accessible, high-performing, and secure digital platforms that serve millions.

Are you a visionary leader ready to shape the future of enterprise digital experiences? We are seeking an exceptional professional to drive the successful delivery of critical web projects. In this pivotal role, you will lead the charge on complex, high-visibility initiatives, ensuring every project not only meets but exceeds expectations for quality, performance, and accessibility. Your expertise will directly influence the digital footprint of a dynamic organization, making a tangible impact on user experience and business success. This is a unique opportunity to apply your deep digital project management acumen, innovate with emerging AI tools, and guide cross-functional teams to build transformative web solutions from inception to launch and beyond. This is a contract position with high potential for permanent hire.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the comprehensive, end-to-end delivery of enterprise website builds, redesigns, and migrations, meticulously managing scope, planning, budgeting, scheduling, and successful launch.
  • Oversee timelines, budgets, and resource allocation across multiple concurrent projects, expertly applying Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies tailored to each engagement.
  • Orchestrate collaboration among diverse cross-functional teams, including account managers, UX/UI designers, developers, content strategists, SEO and analytics specialists, and key client stakeholders.
  • Champion quality assurance, leading functional, cross-browser/device, content, and accessibility QA processes, and ensuring all defects are meticulously triaged and resolved prior to launch.
  • Drive the integration of rigorous standards for accessibility (WCAG 2.2 AA), performance (Core Web Vitals), SEO, security, and privacy directly into project plans and definitions of done, ensuring they are foundational, not afterthoughts.
  • Strategically plan and manage all aspects of launches and migrations, encompassing content migration, redirect mapping, SEO preservation, go-live readiness, and comprehensive post-launch support.
  • Proactively identify risks and swiftly resolve issues, expertly managing scope, change control, and dependencies, and escalating critical matters with clear options and recommendations.
  • Maintain transparent and consistent communication with internal teams and clients, providing regular updates on status, risks, key decisions, and next steps.
  • Thoughtfully leverage AI to enhance project workflows, including planning, documentation, QA support, reporting, and content operations, while evaluating where AI-assisted design and development can accelerate delivery under appropriate human review and client-approved usage.
  • Provide essential content and light technical support as needed, such as updating content within client CMS platforms and performing basic HTML/CSS edits.
Must-Have Qualifications
  • 7-10 years of robust digital project management experience, including successful delivery of multiple enterprise-scale website or web application projects from inception through launch.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Agile and Scrum practices (e.g., sprint planning, backlog management, retrospectives) and the adaptability to tailor methodologies to project specific needs.
  • Hands-on experience with leading project management tools such as Asana or Jira, including advanced reporting, resource tracking, and workflow configuration.
  • Working knowledge of the modern web ecosystem, encompassing CMS platforms (traditional and headless), component-based front-end frameworks, design systems, APIs and integrations, and cloud hosting/CI/CD workflows. While coding is not required, a deep understanding to effectively scope, sequence, and challenge estimates is essential.
  • Proficiency in HTML/CSS and CMS content editing, enabling quick and accurate updates.
  • Solid understanding of UX principles, accessibility standards, and comprehensive web QA practices.
  • Exceptional budget, scope, and change-order management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, crucial for requirements gathering, stakeholder alignment, and executive-level status reporting.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, strong prioritization capabilities, and the proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects effectively.
  • A client-focused, highly collaborative mindset.
  • Demonstrated curiosity for emerging technologies and AI tools, coupled with sound judgment on their appropriate and effective application.
