Job summary

PlainsCapital Bank is seeking a Digital Payments Strategy & Operations Manager to drive strategic initiatives across the Bank's payment ecosystem. You will lead modernization efforts, coordinate system implementations, and ensure operational readiness for key payment functions.

The role requires deep knowledge of domestic and international payment channels, regulatory compliance, and strong leadership across multiple business units to support enterprise growth and risk management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 10+ years of experience in payment operations, treasury management, banking operations, or related financial services functions.
• 8+ years of leadership, project management, or operational management experience preferred.
• Demonstrated experience supporting wire transfer operations, instant payments, ACH, treasury services, or other payment‑related functions.
• Strong knowledge of payment networks and industry trends, including Fedwire, SWIFT, FedNow, RTP, and emerging payment technologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic initiatives supporting the modernization and expansion of the Bank's digital payment capabilities, products, and operational infrastructure.
• Serve as a business lead for payment-related system implementations, conversions, upgrades, and integration efforts, including coordination with business, technology, vendor, and operational stakeholders.
• Support the successful planning, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of payment platforms, including wire transfer, instant payment, and emerging payment technologies.
• Partner with payment operations leadership to ensure operational readiness, business continuity, and process effectiveness across critical payment functions.
