Job summary

Merchants Bank in Indiana seeks a Digital Banking & Payments Manager to drive strategy, administration, and modernization of online/mobile banking and payment services. You will oversee ACH, wire, RTP, Zelle, bill pay, and related technologies while leading cross-functional initiatives and vendor partnerships.

This role emphasizes security, regulatory readiness, and customer-focused improvements, with collaboration across Treasury, Retail, Operations, and Technology teams.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years in banking operations, treasury, or digital banking systems.
• Certified Treasury Professional and Accredited ACH Professional preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field required.

Responsibilities

• Own ongoing optimization of digital banking and payment platforms including online and mobile banking, ACH, wire transfers, RTP, bill pay, Zelle, and related services.
• Serve as SME for digital banking and payment solutions, with guidance on trends, regulations, and network changes.
• Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring service quality and alignment with business objectives.
• Oversee security, functionality, and reliability of digital banking systems for a seamless customer experience.
• Lead implementations, upgrades, testing, and modernization projects across teams and vendors.
• Monitor regulatory compliance, network rules, audits, and internal controls.
