Job summary
TSMC Arizona is seeking a Digital Integration & Automation Engineer to lead smart factory initiatives in Phoenix, AZ. The role combines technical PM responsibilities with hands-on engineering to advance 24/7 manufacturing reliability.
You will deploy digital solutions, craft RFPs, coordinate with IT, Cybersecurity, and Safety (EHS), and enable on-site operations through clear guidelines. Training may be required, with standard working hours.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Environmental Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
- At least 3 years of software or automation engineering work experience with 2+ years hands‑on in systems integration, engineering project management, or automation deployment within high-tech manufacturing.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate, pilot, and integrate digital solutions, automated systems, and robotics to improve operational efficiency.
- Translate bottlenecks into technical requirements and draft RFPs/specifications for vendor bidding.
- Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, and Safety (EHS) teams to ensure compliance and change management reviews.
- Design automated workflows, script data integration pipelines, and support real-time data visualization.
- Build clear guidelines to ensure smooth adoption of new systems by on-site operations teams.
