Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking an Intelligent AMHS Engineer to join the 5-nanometer fab in Phoenix. You will supervise vendor installs, troubleshoot AMHS equipment, and lead continuous improvement projects with suppliers, coordinating with factory teams to minimize downtime.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in engineering and can manage multiple priorities across cross-functional teams, including Field Service Engineers, with on-site responsibilities in Phoenix, AZ.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering is required.
• Software focus: AMHS software concepts and data analysis.
• Hardware/industrial engineering background is valued for AMHS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise vendor to install and sustain AMHS system in ramp-up factories.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues, gather performance metrics, and analyze AMHS systems.
• Direct Field Service Engineers on the floor to resolve issues and lead root-cause analysis.
• Lead equipment continuous improvement projects with suppliers and stakeholders.
• Coordinate downtime and recovery expectations with the factory.
• Review equipment specs with suppliers and improve error recovery procedures.
• Manage daily activities of AMHS Technicians to support production.
