Job summary

TSMC Arizona is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Engineer to lead operation, optimization, and automation of our high-performance data center facilities in Phoenix, AZ. This role combines hands-on infrastructure management with project-level design for new builds and existing operations.

You will drive improvements, manage projects from planning through execution, and evaluate IT and DevOps technologies to enhance efficiency and performance. On-site work at the Phoenix facility is required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years operating and maintaining mission-critical facilities including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis to identify issues quickly.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work non-standard hours as required.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support data center construction and upgrade projects, ensuring timely execution.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, and IT to define scope and requirements.
• Provide operational input during design reviews, equipment selection, and commissioning.
• Track progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure safety, quality, and environmental compliance across projects.
• Drive improvements and share lessons learned for future operations.
