TSMC seeks an AMHS Principal Engineer to lead automated material handling system projects in our Phoenix fab. You will oversee construction, installation, and software control, manage vendors, and guide a small team to ensure on-time delivery and safety compliance.

The role requires strong engineering expertise, excellent communication, and data-driven decision making across multiple concurrent AMHS initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in a relevant engineering field.
• 5+ years in automated material handling systems or similar equipment.
• Proven track record delivering large AMHS deployments.
• Hands-on AMHS experience in logistics or semiconductor environments.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AMHS system installation, integration, and maintenance for ramp-up projects.
• Lead a small team and coordinate vendor activities to meet timelines.
• Review technical docs and provide feedback to suppliers.
• Collaborate with manufacturing sites to sustain high AMHS performance.
• Develop detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and costs.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and escalate as needed.
• Coordinate cross-functional work across engineering, operations, and manufacturing.
