Job summary

Forward Blue in the United States is seeking a Senior Digital Strategist to own the fundraising program from idea to inbox. You will write or edit copy, build audience segments, run tests, QA sends, and report results.

This is a cycle role with potential for permanency, and some nights/weekends may be required when deadlines hit. You will manage end-to-end email and SMS production, optimize campaigns, and coordinate with consultants and vendors to drive revenue and growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years on the email or SMS team of a campaign, PAC, advocacy group, or digital firm with small-dollar fundraising responsibility.
• Hands-on build experience in at least one mass email platform or CRM; you have built sends and segments yourself.
• Track record of designing A/B tests, reading results, and acting on them.
• Fast, clean fundraising copy with strong editing and proofreading discipline.
• Comfort with spreadsheets for pulling, cleaning, and summarizing send and revenue data.

Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and fact-check fundraising emails and SMS in our house voice.
• Build sends end-to-end in email and SMS platforms with content, links, forms, and scheduling.
• Create and maintain audience segments, suppressions, and send rules for targeted messaging.
• Run QA on every send and fix issues promptly.
• Plan and run A/B tests on subject lines, senders, etc., and push winners to the full list.
• Monitor deliverability, reports on revenue and engagement, and coordinate with consultants/vendors.
