Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Senior Consultant to drive engineering and R&D transformation programs, focusing on MBSE, PLM, digital twins, and digital thread initiatives. You will assess current-state processes, translate technical requirements into business value, and help clients accelerate their Digital Transformation agenda within the Intelligent Industry team.

The role requires 5–8+ years in digital engineering or tech consulting, with strong stakeholder management and communication

Qualifications

5–8+ years of experience in digital engineering, software delivery, or technology consulting, with a track record of owning and delivering workstreams.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D, for Manufacturing, Automotive or A&D.
Strong understanding of MBE, PLM, MBSE solutions/approach.
Understanding of PLM processes.
Experience around model-based engineering, digital thread areas.
Proven ability to solve complex business problems using data and technology.

Responsibilities

Contribute to engineering and digital transformation programs across Engineering and R&D functions, notably Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense environments.
Support delivery of model-based initiatives: MBE, MBSE, PLM, MBSE, digital twins, digital thread solutions.
Collaborate as a team to successfully execute engineering transformation projects for clients.
Support new business development through proposals, client presentations, and contract pursuits.
Drive innovation in products and technologies by staying current with industry trends and tools.
Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Use data and AI-enabled insights to optimize engineering performance and decisions.
Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and operating models in engineering.
