Job summary

Capgemini Invent is seeking a Senior Consultant to support Engineering and R&D transformation programs—with emphasis on PLM, MBSE, digital thread, and digital twins. You will translate technical needs into business value and help clients accelerate their Digital Transformation journey.

Join the Digital Continuity effort and collaborate across Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense sectors. Travel up to ~50% to client sites and lead with strong stakeholder management.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in digital engineering, software delivery, or tech consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D, for Manufacturing, Automotive or A&D.
• Strong understanding of MBE/PLM/MBSE solutions and PLM processes.
• Ability to solve complex business problems with data and technology‑enabled approaches.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with technical and business audiences.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and digital transformation programs across Engineering and R&D functions, especially in Manufacturing, Automotive, and Aerospace & Defense.
• Support delivery of model-based initiatives: MBE/MBE, PLM, MBSE, digital twins, and digital thread.
• Collaborate as a team to successfully execute engineering transformation projects for clients.
• Support new business development: proposals, client presentations, and contract pursuits.
• Drive innovation in products and technologies by staying current with industry trends and tools.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Use data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to optimize engineering performance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and future-state operating models.
