Job summary

Capgemini Invent seeks a Senior Consultant to support Engineering and R&D transformation programs, including PLM, MBSE, digital thread, and digital twins. The role blends engineering knowledge with consulting to define improvements and accelerate digital transformation for clients.

The Digital Continuity Team helps connect engineering with the broader value chain, advising on digital technologies, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to optimize performance and decision-making.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in digital engineering, software delivery, or tech consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience in transformation programs within Engineering or R&D.
• Strong understanding of MBE, PLM, MBSE solutions/approach.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to engineering and digital transformation programs across Engineering and R&D functions, especially in Manufacturing, Automotive, and A&D.
• Support delivery of model-based initiatives (MBE/MBE, PLM, MBSE, digital twins, digital thread).
• Collaborate as a team to execute engineering transformation projects for clients.
• Support new business development via proposals, client presentations, and contracts.
• Drive innovation by staying current with industry trends, tools, and advancements.
• Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Leverage data, analytics, and AI-enabled insights to optimize engineering performance.
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders to shape digital roadmaps and operating models.
• Travel up to ~50% on average, onsite when required.
