Job summary
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Sr. Staff Systems Engineer (Digital Engineering Technical Lead) for its Roy, Utah location to support the Sentinel Program. You will lead the Digital Engineering SEIT, drive MBSE practices, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and mature complex system solutions.
The role requires a strong background in MBSE, systems engineering, and program leadership, with a U.S. Secret clearance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in a STEM field and 14+ years of related experience, or a Master's with 12+ years, or PhD with 10+ years.
- U.S. Citizen with active U.S. Government Secret clearance at time of application.
- Ability to obtain SAP approval within a reasonable period.
- 5 years of systems engineering experience across the program lifecycle.
- 5 years of demonstrated MBSE experience, leading teams.
- 2 years of conflict management and negotiation skills.
- 5 years of experience managing technical teams and making tough decisions.
Responsibilities
- Act as main technical lead within the DE SEIT and drive engineering execution.
- Collaborate with engineers to drive product definition and buy-off.
- Engage customers and senior leadership to gather requirements.
- Represent the DE SEIT for Digital Engineering Review Board.
