Job summary

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a Specialist Digital Controls and Embedded Software Engineer to join our team. This hybrid role requires on-site presence 3 days weekly at the Raleigh, NC facility and offers relocation assistance within the US.

You will design and develop high-power three-phase UPS control systems, real-time DSP algorithms, and energy storage products, collaborating with global teams to deliver reliable power solutions. H1B sponsorship is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Experience in real-time DSP algorithms for power conversion.
• Strong background in power electronics-centric controls design.
• Ability to work with multi-disciplinary global teams.

Responsibilities

• Launch critical power infrastructure products meeting customer requirements and Eaton standards.
• Provide guidance and leadership to project teams.
• Collaborate with global product teams to resolve performance and reliability issues.
• Develop control algorithms and verify via simulations and hardware-in-the-loop.
• Validate designs using real-time simulation systems like OPAL-RT.
