Job summary

EPAM Systems Inc seeks a Senior Business Analyst – Digital Assets to translate product strategy into precise functional specs for digital asset transactions, wallet services, and custody integrations. You will work with Engineering, Compliance, and Operations in a regulated, multi‑jurisdiction environment.

You will own analysis and documentation for crypto payment workflows, API integrations, and data reporting.

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience as a Business Analyst or similar
• Experience writing functional specs for API integrations, transaction systems, or payment flows
• Understanding of blockchain fundamentals and digital asset ecosystems
• Experience documenting integrations with custody providers or crypto processors
• Knowledge of AML/KYT and Travel Rule requirements is a strong advantage
• Familiarity with API documentation, webhooks, idempotency, and asynchronous processing
• Fluency in English; other languages are a plus

Responsibilities

• Own analysis and documentation of business and functional requirements for digital asset transactions
• Produce clear specifications for transaction lifecycles, account management, and third‑party integrations
• Document integration requirements for custody providers and payment processors
• Map end‑to‑end transaction flows including edge cases and failure modes
• Translate regulatory requirements into functional requirements with Compliance and Legal
• Define data requirements and reporting needs for reconciliation and regulatory reporting
• Support Engineering during delivery and validate delivered functionality
• Contribute to UAT planning and vendor sandbox testing
• Maintain product documentation in Confluence and requirements in Jira
• Mentor other Business Analysts and raise specification standards
