Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior specialist focused on digital assets in FSO FAAS in the United States. You will advise crypto-native firms and financial institutions on accounting, reporting, and controls for blockchain-enabled products.

The role emphasizes hands-on accounting, audit readiness, and technology-enabled delivery within a fast-changing digital asset landscape. You’ll connect token economics and wallet activity to accounting conclusions, support IPO readiness, and collaborate with assurance,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline.
Eligibility for US CPA licensure in the candidate's work state.
Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research accounting conclusions.
Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements and audit workpapers.
Strong analytical, writing and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Perform research and documentation to support digital asset accounting and reporting.
Analyze products and transactions across trading, custody, staking, tokenization and related activities.
Assist with finance transformation activities and close processes.
Document processes and help design controls over wallets and transaction processing.
Analyze data; investigate exceptions and develop repeatable workpapers.
Own deliverables, coordinate activities and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Support junior teammates and leverage data analytics and AI-enabled tools.
