Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior focused on digital assets within FSO FAAS to advise crypto-native and traditional financial institutions as they launch blockchain-enabled products. You will integrate accounting judgement with product design and technology, helping connect wallets, token economics and data to financial statements.

Responsibilities include research, policy development, and supporting finance transformation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related business discipline with at least 2 years of experience.
• Eligibility for US CPA licensure; progress toward CPA preferred.
• Working knowledge of US GAAP and ability to research, document and communicate accounting conclusions.
• Experience preparing or reviewing financial statements, audit workpapers, analyses, reconciliations or internal-control documentation.
• Strong analytical, writing and communication skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel and work beyond standard hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Perform research, analysis and documentation to support digital asset accounting, financial reporting, audit and IPO readiness.
• Analyze products and transactions involving trading, custody, staking, stablecoins, tokenization, lending, mining and decentralized protocols; prepare client-ready materials.
• Assist with finance transformation activities, including digital asset subledger implementations, close and reporting processes, data integration and reconciliations.
• Document processes and help design and test controls over wallets, custody, transaction processing, valuation, completeness and reporting.
• Analyze wallet, custodian, subledger and general-ledger data; investigate exceptions; develop repeatable workpapers.
• Own assigned deliverables, coordinate project activities, communicate issues early and collaborate with accounting, assurance, tax, technology, valuation, cybersecurity and regulatory specialists.
• Support junior teammates and contribute to high-quality delivery while using data analytics and AI-enabled applications.
