Job summary

Boulevard Temple Care Center in Flint, MI is seeking a Dietitian Services Supervisor to oversee the dietary department, supervise staff, and ensure nutritional needs are met for residents. You will manage menus, purchases, and adherence to physician orders and regulatory guidelines.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Dietetics or related field, 1+ year as a Dietitian in healthcare, and 1–2 years of supervisory experience. Knowledge of MDS and care planning is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in dietetics, nutrition, or related field.
• Minimum of 1 year as a dietitian in a healthcare setting preferred.
• 1–2 years of supervisory/management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MDS, care planning, and clinical documentation standards.
• Familiarity with federal/state regulations governing dietary services.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the dietary department and supervises staff to meet nutritional needs.
• Ensures menus meet physician orders, regulations, and care plans.
• Monitors food purchasing within budget and ensures adequate supplies.
• Guides diet planning, menu formulation, and therapeutic diets.
• Maintains records of resident diet preferences and progress notes.
• Participates in department meetings and care planning conferences.
• Ensures sanitation, safety, and infection control in food service.
• Supports QA, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives.
