Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent, plus skilled trades training.
• Minimum of four years of diesel technician experience.
• Ability to learn and model HOLT’s VBL Culture and complete safety training.
• On-going Safety Training required.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and diagnoses complex engine issues with minimal supervision.
• Performs detailed engine and related equipment repairs to factory specifications.
• Documents service reports, timecards, parts requisition and returns.
• Mentors and coaches lower level technicians.
• Maintains tools and equipment in good condition; ensures safety.
• Communicates job progress to supervisor and customers; adheres to safety policies.
• Overtime may be required to meet workload.
• Operates equipment with required licenses and certificates.
